🌿🎬The second season of ‘Grow What You Know’ - hosted by actress & activist @natkelley , focuses on the theme “Invest In Our Planet.” Each of the four episodes centers on a specific area that directly reflects the areas into which KTG divides its own work. Nat is a KTG board member, regenerative advocate, and actress. Nat’s upbringing, education, and current career as an actress in US film and television, has led her to use her platform and voice to advocate for Indigenous peoples, regenerative agriculture, the soil and the undervalued but invaluable role of fungi in our ecosystem.

🌱 A Radical Transformation: Convert your lawn into a food forest.⁣ A food forest places emphasis on trees, shrubs, perennials, and self-seeding annuals. ⁣
🌱 A Moderate Transformation: Replace most of your lawn with native and/or edible plants. Restoring native plant habitats is vital to preserving biodiversity. Native plants work with the ecosystem already established where you are providing shelter and food for wildlife.⁣
🌱 A Minimal Transformation: Add additional grass species and let them grow! ⁣If you mow, use an electric mulching mower. Mulching into your lawn adds organic matter, which most soils are lacking, and these get broken down by earthworms and microorganisms and turned into plant-usable organic matter.⁣
🌱 Keep it Organic: Use zero toxins and let your garden thrive!⁣
