Farmers learn best from other farmers – the Peer Learning for Agriculture Conservation Education (PLACE) Act adjusts the Regional Conservation Partnership Program to create new funding opportunities for organizations that facilitate farmer-to-farmer peer learning, with a focus on soil health and NRCS conservation programs.

 

Introduced by Representatives Marc Molinaro (R-NY) and Andrea Salinas (D-OR), this bill is an important opportunity to increase access to farmer-to-farmer networks to provide peer education and technical assistance, based on the latest science and context-based principles for building soil and climate adaptation.
