Marketing Coordinator

LOCATION: Remote

Ongoing Coordination of Marketing Activities

  • Researches builds and maintains editorial calendar, influencer lists, and databases for the marketing team
  • Gathers content and media assets to be used in creative, content, and campaigns
  • Secures approvals from partners on marketing and communications campaigns 
  • Edits website with new content and coordinates with other team members on design elements and features as appropriate
  • Runs analytics reports on the website, email marketing, and social media campaigns and creates monthly reports on campaign effectiveness; develops strategies to increase engagement and value
  • Supports social media manager in developing content for social media activities 
  • Acts as project manager for campaigns
  • Prepares materials to coalition members, coordinates approvals and correspondence with the coalition. 
  • Supports and coordinates coalition events

Provides Administrative Support

  • Maintains marketing and editorial calendars for Kiss the Ground 
  • Prepares slide presentations and other correspondence
  • Schedules meetings, distribute member announcements, and coordinates meeting logistics with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assists with research and outreach
  • Becomes internal expert and “gatekeeper” of coalition materials including coordinating user setup and administration
  • Maintains coalition database

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Working experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in coordination and project management
  • Experience identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and other marketing/social tools

Salary: hourly, non-exempt position equivalent to an annual salary range of $45K – $55K, DOE

Full time, non-exempt hourly position with health benefits, holidays, and paid time off

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
