Kiss the Ground is hiring a National Campaign Coordinator to help manage and implement the Regenerate America™ campaign in regions across the country. This is an 18-month, fully remote position with potential for longer. 


Kiss the Ground (KTG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to awaken people to the possibilities of regeneration and inspire participation in this movement through media, communications, education, immersive programming, and advocacy. Since being established in 2013 with the goal of creating societal awareness around the extraordinary potential of healthy soil, Kiss the Ground has educated and activated millions through their Media Program, Farmland Program, Stewardship Program, and Policy Program, and has created an online pathway to resources for joining this expanding global movement. KTG has also spread the word through creative collaborations that have resulted in a book and a critically-acclaimed documentary (released on Netflix in September 2020), both named Kiss the Ground.


Kiss the Ground is launching Regenerate America™ in Spring 2022, a broad-based, farmer-centered coalition to advance regenerative agriculture in the 2023 Farm Bill and beyond. The National Campaign Coordinator will play a critical role in the success of the Regenerate America™ campaign. The successful candidate for this position will: 


  • Outreach to new coalition members and work with these organizations across the country to ensure successful grassroots activations in each major region
  • Work with the policy team to help coordinate and implement campaign strategy in key Agricultural Committee Districts across the country 
  • Coordinate the Regenerate America Key District Advocacy Program (advocates across the country that are helping activate the public in key Congressional districts with House and Senate Agriculture Committee members) 
  • Help coordinate tours on regenerative farms for Congressional members and their staff 
  • Engage coalition members and key district advocates through the Mighty Networks platform 
  • Encourage coalition members and partners to utilize campaign assets such as social media toolkits, letter writing toolkits, and other calls to action (CTAs)
  • Help plan and participate in events such as tabling at conferences and fundraisers 

What you will bring: 

  • Background in agriculture, conservation, and/or food systems with a passion for regenerative agriculture 
  • Project management and coordination skills with strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications 
  • Experience working in grassroots advocacy, in coalitions, on political campaigns, or working for an elected official 
  • Ability to work remotely and independently 
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. (short trips approximately 4 times per year) 
  • A strong commitment to racial justice and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) 


Additional qualities that would be helpful for this role:  

  • Knowledge of federal agriculture policy and USDA conservation programs 
  • Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder networks or coalitions
  • Having existing relationships with agriculture and farming organizations 
  • Knowledge of any of the following programs used at Kiss the Ground: Soft Edge/Congress Plus, Mighty Networks, Asana, Slack, Hive Brite, Salesforce, and Klaviyo (or similar programs) 
  • Bilingual or multilingual is a plus

Position reports to the Policy Manager and works closely with the Policy Director, Federal Policy Coordinator, Kiss the Ground staff members, and members of the coalition. 


Full time position, health benefits, holidays, and paid time off

Starting salary: $60,000 – $65,000 DOE
