Take an in person training with a Savory Accredited Hub that meets the training requirements for becoming a Savory Institute Accredited Professional. These trainings, ranging from 8-10 days, are an immersive experience designed for someone who wants to learn the whole of Holistic Management in one session. This unique framework builds your understanding of the whole you are working within and guides you in developing a context appropriate pathway to management for ecological, economic, and community health. There will be a mixture of inside course and individual work time, as well as outdoor, hands-on experience.

The Savanna Institute works with farmers and scientists to lay the groundwork for widespread agroforestry adoption in the Midwest. Inspired by the native savanna ecosystems that once covered much of this region, the Savanna Institute conducts research, education, and outreach to support the growth of diverse, perennial agroecosystems. Their online courses focus on key tree crops and practices, marketing, land access and finances, agroecology and climate change to expand your knowledge of agroforestry.
Regenerative Land Management is a two-year program that will give a Permaculture Diploma recognized by the Permaculture Institute of North America. It consists of both online and in-person learning, plus documented internships or paid work to learn practical skills. This course is designed to give you the skills, experience and confidence to run a farm, ranch, retreat center or urban farm in ways that heal damaged ecosystems and sequester carbon. Students will participate in online courses, internships and apprenticeships, and, when it’s safe, in-person training. These will deepen your understanding of regenerative systems for food production, forestry, grazing, soil improvement and urban farming. As well, you’ll gain skills in business planning, communication skills, conflict resolution, and community organizing.
