Support local farmers. Support Regeneration.
“We’re adapting our business to provide farm fresh produce to the masses.” – Mollie Engelhart
Southern California’s Sow a Heart and Ayala Farms have teamed up to offer weekly CSA boxes filled with freshly picked fruits and vegetables from their small regenerative farms. They are also donating $1 to Kiss the Ground to support our mission to inspire participation in soil regeneration. Check out their website to learn more about how to order and where to pick up.

About Sow a Heart
This farm was built on love. When our farmers moved their family home, they brought a full house. Husband and wife, Chef Mollie Engelhart and Chef Elias Sosa of Vegan LA staples: Sage Plant-based Bistro, Sage Brewery, and Kind Kreme toting in hand their two young children, dozens of beloved family pets, and extended family members and friends.
We came to this farm to build community. Physically, with our home here, but also to grow sustainable organic food for our restaurants and extended southern California friends, family, and food lovers. We came to practice regenerative agriculture and cultivate new way of thinking of our food.
About Ayala Farms
A small 12 acre family owned farm in Oxnard. Our Family immigrated here from Michoacán, Mexico and are raising their family in the farming trade. Selling their produce at farmers markets is always a family affair. Our farm is too small to be considered certified organic, but we grow all our produce without chemical pesticides, and petroleum based fertilizers, relying heavily on chicken compost and fish emulsion to feed their produce. Because of our coastal climate, we’re blessed to have tomatoes and cucumbers in the winter time and kale and broccoli in the summertime. We make it possible to have local and Farm-to-table all year round.
