Introducing Kiss the Ground Coffee
Certified Regenerative Coffee from La Bella Farm in Costa Rica
The first 100 people to donate $100 or more will receive a bag of Kiss the Ground Coffee. Your support enables us to kick start this program, with the goal of launching a monthly subscription service later this year.
Farmer and Soil First
We collaborated with local Costa Rican company Buena Vida Specialty Coffee to bring you a certified regenerative coffee that supports the wellbeing of coffee farmers and our soil. Each bag of Kiss the Ground Coffee is regeneratively-sourced from La Bella Farm, a small-scale, family-run farm in Los Santos, Costa Rica. Our coffee is certified regenerative by Regenified.
Your donation allows us to directly support La Bella Farm and their regenerative practices.

Meet Our Farmers
La Bella Farm is a fourth-generation regenerative farm run by brothers Esteban, Arturo, and Heriberto Marin.
Farming practices
At La Bella Farm, nature based farming techniques such as intercropping, cover cropping, and agroforestry are implemented to cut out the use of chemicals. Buena Vida Specialty Coffee collaborates with the United Nations FAO to equip farms with the skills to measure soil fertility and their carbon footprint. These methods ensure every step of the coffee’s journey is regenerative and traceable.
Kiss the Ground Coffee Starts at La Bella Farm in Costa Rica
Growth + Harvest
Kiss the Ground Coffee’s journey begins at the La Bella farm, distinguished by its tier 5 certification from Regenified.
Grown at 1600 meters above sea level in Los Santos, some of their coffee plants are over 200 years old.
Processing + Roasting
The beans, grown as Caturra-Catuai varieties, are processed using a semi-washed method.
In addition to being locally processed, the beans are roasted in-house in Costa Rica to bring out notes of chocolate, sugarcane, tangerine and hazelnut.
Packaging + Delivery
From here, our coffee is packaged in Costa Rica in 100% compostable packaging.
Kiss the Ground Coffee is then shipped to our independently-owned warehouse in San Diego, California, before being shipped directly to you!
