We always say that “We’re stairs people.” When others might take the elevator, we take the stairs – which is basically a quick way to say that we never take the easy way out. Quality takes time and effort and in the end it’s worth it. In a world full of artificial, quick fixes, ultraprocessing, and AI – we’re stairs people who take our time, make a product that’s never-from-concentrate, verified non-ultraprocessed with no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners and we make content in-house with our real teammates.
If your company were something that grew in soil, what would it be and why?
We would be a yuzu tree full of ripening yuzu fruit. Some yuzu trees take up to a decade to bear fruit, but once they’re ready for harvest, every fruit grown is so unique, complex and beautiful. At Spindrift, we’ve also grown slowly over time, doing things the right way, even if it’s unconventional or more challenging, in pursuit of an incredibly delicious and outsized result. You can taste the effort yuzu trees have put into growing their fruit, and you can see it on the fruit itself. We hope you can taste the care and hard work of our team in every sip of our products.
How does your organization stay connected to nature?
Every batch of Spindrift is proudly made the hard way with real squeezed fruit. That means we start by sourcing the best-tasting fruit from the farms, orchards, groves, vineyards that grow and harvest them. To find the best-tasting fruit, we search worldwide and build strong relationships with suppliers who align with our mission. We visit the farms, make real connections with the growers, and aim to honor their work in every product we make through our carefully honed manufacturing process. You’ll also find our team exploring farmers markets, gardening, hiking, camping, picnicking and genuinely enjoying nature as much as we can.
