Kiss the Ground

Soil is our common ground and we are building a movement to regenerate it.

Find your path in the movement by getting started with one of our four programs: Advocacy, FarmlandEducation & Media

Kiss the Ground is an education and advocacy nonprofit advancing initiatives across four distinct programs: Advocacy, Farmland, Education, and Media. In addition to our program work, we bring impact projects to life—convening key players in the regenerative agricultural movement and catalyzing collaboration, action, and innovation. Everything we do as an organization is aimed towards achieving our overarching mission: inspiring participation in global regeneration, starting with soil.

YOU CAN BECOME A VOICE IN THE MOVEMENT

Every successful movement starts with building awareness and this requires the work of passionate advocates like you. Regenerative agriculture is one of the most important solutions of our time. We train advocates from around the world to understand and present this critical message. Our next Soil Advocate Training begins Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

Soil is the Climate Solution, a new FREE COURSE (for a limited time) in partnership with our friends from Commune is designed for ANYONE who is interested in advocating for the regeneration of our planet.

These 10 sessions (all under 20-minutes) hosted by Kiss the Ground Co-Founder and Advocacy Director, Finian Makepeace are perfect for beginners, as a refresher for existing Kiss the Ground Soil Advocates, or as inspiration to those deep in the movement! Learn how to rebuild soil, replenish water cycles, and reverse global warming. The movement begins with you and your advocacy. Course dates: September 9-18, 2019.

FARMERS, RESTAURANTS & SUPPORTERS

The Kiss the Ground Farmland Program funds training and soil testing that supports producers (farmers and ranchers) in transitioning landscapes and adopting management practices aligned with the principles of regenerative agriculture.

TEACHERS, PARENTS, BUSINESS OWNERS & KNOWLEDGE SEEKERS

We develop curriculum, educational resources, and trainings to support your regenerative journey whether you are a student, a concerned citizen, or a business owner. Our next Regenerative Gardening & Living Course with Farmer Rishi Kumar is September 18 – October 30, 2019.

FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN LEARNING, CONTRIBUTING OR SHARING INFORMATION

We tell stories about how humanity can build healthy soil, reverse global warming and steward our planet through short films, campaigns, documentaries, books, social media, blogs, and public speaking.
