New national research from Kiss the Ground—first highlighted in Forbes by Andrew Watman—reveals a 3x increase in American understanding of regenerative agriculture since 2023. Driven by a growing demand for personal health and food transparency, 25% of U.S. adults are now familiar with regenerative farming practices, signaling an undeniable shift in how people view their food and its origins.
Andrew Watman writes, “Nonprofit Kiss the Ground, one of the most recognizable names in regenerative agriculture, reveals to me today the results of its latest survey, which demonstrate that the movement to make regenerative agriculture mainstream is moving in the right direction. Over the past 12 months, consumer awareness of regenerative agriculture has grown from 7% to 13%,..it’s a significant uptick—more than tripling—from its initial 2023 survey where that number fell at just 4%.”
