Kiss the Ground’s mission is inspiring participation in global regeneration, starting with soil. In support of our work, on April 18th, 2019 Whole Foods Market donated 5% of their net-sales across forty-four Southern California stores to the Kiss the Ground Education & Farmland Programs. Together, we raised $209,258.57!

Through Whole Foods Market’s 5% Community Giving Day, Kiss the Ground can empower even more farmers, ranchers, educators, activists, and youth to take on one of the most hopeful environmental movements of our time: regenerative agriculture.

The funds raised on April 18th will allow us to:

1. Complete Soil Quest, a middle school online educational tool that we’ve been creating in collaboration with Captain Planet Foundation, as well as fund micro-grants for teachers to use for projects such as tree planting and composting for school children in the Southern California region. 2. Support our country’s producers through sponsored farmer trainings and free soil testing, starting with farmers in Southern California.

We would like to express our immense gratitude to Whole Foods Market and thank them for supporting Kiss the Ground and many other grassroots organizations around the country. We look forward to future collaborations with our friends at Whole Foods Market as we strive to empower communities and expand our impact around the world. THANK YOU to everyone who supported Kiss the Ground on April 18th for Whole Foods Market’s 5% Community Giving Day! We invite you to learn more about the programs you helped support!
